- 01RBP base primer Establishes the foundation and initial tone.
- 02RCL color layer Adds the final project color and visual depth.

ASTM E84Class A+
A Class A option is available for projects that require elevated flame-spread performance, including relevant WUI and commercial specifications. Confirm the exact assembly with JCD.
DIN EN ISO 12572Water-vapor behavior+
The material is tested for water-vapor transmission behavior and is engineered for applications where moisture exposure rules out conventional wood.
DIN EN 12038Durability Class 1+
Laboratory testing documents resistance to wood-destroying fungi at the highest durability classification cited in the Resysta technical brief.
ASTM D3345Termite durability+
Testing documents resistance to termite attack, supported by a formula that contains no wood fiber as a food source.

Frequently asked questions
What project teams ask first.
Need an answer tied to a specific assembly or jurisdiction? Send the project details to JCD for technical review.
Ask a JCD expertIs Resysta installed like wood decking and cladding?+
Resysta can be cut, drilled, fastened, sanded, and finished with familiar woodworking tools. Final fastening, spacing, substructure, and coating requirements should follow the current JCD installation documents.
Why does Resysta resist cracking and splintering?+
The material contains no wood fiber and does not absorb and release moisture like conventional lumber. That helps prevent the swelling, checking, and splintering associated with wet-dry cycles.
Will the material turn gray outdoors?+
Resysta does not naturally weather to gray like unfinished wood. Its finish may lighten over time, and the compatible stain system can refresh or intensify the selected color.
Can Resysta arrive prefinished?+
Depending on the product and project path, material may be supplied raw or prefinished. Ask JCD to confirm current finish options, lead times, and sample availability.
Is Resysta suitable around pools and salt water?+
Resysta is designed for wet environments and is resistant to chlorine and salt-water exposure. Its slip-resistant surface and splinter-free composition make it a strong poolside candidate when correctly specified and installed.
What maintenance does Resysta require?+
Routine cleaning is generally the main requirement. Because the material does not absorb water, chip, or weather like wood, it avoids many recurring sanding and refinishing demands.
